Someone sent 40k by mistake
I got a Google pay notification that 40,000 INR is credit to my acc. The person who sent it to me called me and explained that he made a terrible mistake and he is in urgent need of this money. He requested me to return it immediately. Although I asked him to wait for a couple of minutes so I could verify my bank statement and confirm that I am not getting scammed. The transaction was legit so I returned the money. But what is the first thing you should do in such situations?
