Potential WhatsApp scam? Any advice would be appreciated

Hi everyone I received a message from my nanny today one WhatsApp about an engagement. Very confused I phoned my mum to see if she had been chatting to my nanny. She said no. Then a short time later my nanny messaged again replying to the message she sent me. We gave her a ring and she said she had received the WhatsApp message from me and very confused as why would she be getting engaged. She is adamant she did not send the message and hasn’t spoken to anyone else today that the message could have accidentally been for. For an 80 year old woman she is very tech savvy and health wise is 100% so I do believe her. Could this be a scam? How on earth would someone manage to do that! I will attach a photo of the message.
