How do I stop the calls without changing my number?
As the title suggests. I get upwards to 50+ scam calls a day. All from different numbers. Its always the same scam talking about medicaid and medicare, or unclaimed compensation of benefits of things I DONT HAVE. I have pleaded , begged, cursed, calmly asked them to stop calling me and or remove me from their list but it never ends. Some are nice enough to hang up on my while others riddle off every obscenity in the book into the phone until I hang up. I have a lot of important things ties to my phone number and dont wish to change it. As this progressively gets worse, I fear i may not have another option. These services that require a monthly subscription also feel like a scam. Like paying the mafia to protect me from the mafia. This shit does not make sense. The built in call filters do not stop "known" numbers (anything that has a caller id that isnt "unknown") from coming through. They always call from a masked number. I simply dont answer my phone any more and have had to turn off the vibrate and ringer functions. Does anyone have any recommendation or a solution to this issue?
